Living in the United Arab Emirates

The UAE, a significant member of the Arabian Gulf, offers access to modern aviation, communications, and infrastructure. A country with easy global access is an excellent place to conduct business. The second-largest of the seven emirates, Dubai is also the economic and financial hub of the UAE and the most significant international capital.

Dubai

Dubai is a fascinating emirate in the UAE, with a mixture of historic and modern landmarks. Among these are the Dubai Museum, Hatta Heritage Village, Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Mall, and Palm Jumeirah, the largest artificial island. With its status as the financial and commercial hub of the UAE, Dubai is also home to a sizable foreign population. It is one of the most prominent international capitals in the region.

Abu Dhabi

Capital city Abu Dhabi boasts the magnificent Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and Yas WaterWorld minutes from the car enthusiast theme park Ferrari World.

The Al Ain date palm oasis was admitted to the Union Nations’ Food and Agricultural Organization for its importance as a reservoir of biological resources, biodiversity, and cultural heritage. The city’s Jebel Hafeet mountain is the tallest peak in the emirate. The oasis has been recognized as a system of the agricultural heritage of global significance.

Sound Global Competitiveness

The UAE was ranked ninth in the world in 2021 according to the IMD World Competitiveness Ranking, which examines how effectively a state encourages the prosperity of its citizens by analyzing economic well-being through data and study responses from executives. The ranking’s major financial performance indicators included innovation, digitalization, social benefits, and community stability. The nation achieved a similar order in 2020. It is the first Arab nation to persistently rank in the top ten competitive countries for four years. Regarding government efficiency, the UAE came in third, followed by economic growth and company performance.

UAE residents benefit from the nation’s strength in innovation and entrepreneurship and its commitment to progress in art, culture, and education.

A Favourable Business Environment

The UAE’s GDP for 2021 surpassed economic projections worldwide, reaching AED 1.489 trillion, the highest in the region. The federal government of the UAE was given an AA- credit score with a “stable outlook” by the American credit assessment firm Fitch Ratings Inc. in November 2020. The national economy of the UAE government was rated AA2 in sustainability by the global rating organization Moody’s in December 2020. Because of so, the UAE received the best sovereign grade in the area.

The UAE is one of the top 30 business-friendly nations in the world. With no personal income, capital, personal wealth, or withholding taxes (apart from those imposed in the native banking and oil sectors) and multiple double-tax agreements, it provides investors with a unique tax environment. Real estate investments can provide investors with positive prospects.

Strong Environmental Commitment

The UAE has more than 5,000 km2 of protected land, equating to about 6% of the country’s total area. Its natural environment is rich, and its topography is diverse, ranging from expansive sand deserts to dunes, oases, valleys, beaches, mountains, mangroves, and salt plains — all of which allow for a strong ecotourism industry.

Leading Space Innovation Projects

The United Arab Emirates is the first Arab nation to visit Mars, and its space program is the fifth in the world to achieve this goal. After travelling for almost seven months, the Hope probe reached the orbit of Mars at 19:42 Gulf Standard Time on February 9, 2021. Launched as part of the Emirates Mars Mission, the search will study the Martian atmosphere.

The UAE wants to construct a lunar rover there and launch it to the moon by 2024 as part of its Emirates Lunar Mission. The mission’s objective is to investigate and improve our understanding of various topics, including the climatic characteristics of the lunar surface and the chemistry and origin of lunar soil.

Furthermore, the Mohammad Bin Rashid Space Centre, which is in charge of the mission and is formulating a 100-year plan, wants to construct the first feasible human community on Mars by 2117.G
