Thailand Elite Residence Program options
Residents may stay in the nation for as long as they like within the constraints of their selected program; there is no minimum period of residence needed.
There are seven program alternatives available through the Thailand Elite Residency Program, each with different terms, benefits, and prices. The following are the three most chosen options available:
- Residents and businesses frequently choose Elite Easy Access to get into and out of Thailand. The one-time cost for a five-year visa with the special entrance is THB 600,000, including VAT (approximately USD 19,000). Both an annual fee and an age restriction are absent. The residency permit cannot be changed. However, it can be upgraded to the Elite Ultimate Access option for THB 1.498 million including VAT (approx USD 48,000) or the Elite Supremacy Extension for THB 400,000 including VAT (about USD 12,000).
- Elite Family Tour package: This trip is designed for at least two people, and each person receives a five-year resident visa. Both applicants are paid the one-time price of THB 800,000, including VAT (about USD 25,000), in addition to THB 300,000, including VAT (roughly USD 10,000) per dependant. Dependents of the core applicant may include biological parents, stepparents, spouses (including those who are legally married), children, and stepchildren. Both an annual fee and an age restriction are absent. There is no transferable residence permit. The package includes free VIP privileges, including airport shuttles and concierge services from the government.
- Elite Superiority Extension: A THB 1 million one-time cost, including VAT, will provide holders with a 20-year privilege entry visa (approximately USD 32,000). Both an annual fee and an age limit are removed. The package includes free VIP amenities, including airport services and a government concierge.
Time Frame and Procedures of the Thailand Elite Residence Program
The application process at TPC is simple and fast. To order to have the visa applied for upon their aeroplane arrival under normal travel circumstances or at the Immigration Department in Bangkok, approved applicants and their families must notify TPC seven days before the date of their request.
After the potential client contacts XYZ Company, the first step is to finish the proper initial checks. The client agreement can then be signed, and the maintenance can be paid after that. Thereafter, you can prepare and submit your application for a residency permit in Thailand. The successful candidate can participate after the application is approved, which typically takes two to three months. If TPC has confirmed receipt of the application fee, the residence visa may be issued in as little as two weeks. The client can then get the letter of welcome and schedule a time for visa affixation service.
Dual Citizenship in Thailand
The resident permit (privilege entrance visa) secured through the TPC does not lead to citizenship or permanent residency because it is not categorized as a non-immigrant visa.
Candidates should have held a Thai non-immigrant visa for at least three years prior to submitting their application and must have obtained three consecutive yearly extensions to qualify for the program.
Also, at the time the application for permanent residence is submitted, the applicant must be the holder of a non-immigrant visa.
After being a permanent resident of Thailand for ten consecutive years, one may qualify to become a citizen by naturalization. There are some exceptions to Thailand’s restriction on dual citizenship.
