Investment Requirements for Dominica Passport
One applicant can choose one of the following options to qualify for citizenship according to current regulations:
Non-refundable contribution of USD 200,000 to the Economic Diversification Fund
A minimum investment of USD 200,000 in approved real estate developments
The Dominica CBI Program: Time Frame and Procedures
The applicant and their immediate family must take an oath of allegiance in front of an authorized notary, justice, or commissioner of oaths. The citizenship application is then processed and issued with the appropriate citizenship certificates.
There is no requirement to live in a particular place. The government encourages citizens to get more involved in the economy and offers substantial incentives. The successful applicant can reside in Dominica anytime and for any duration. Any applicant denied access must obtain a visa from the same country to be eligible for a visa.
Additional fees may apply for citizenship to pre-existing dependents and future spouses of applicants who have obtained citizenship through the Dominica Citizenship by Investment Program. The program allows citizenship registration for newborn children who are not yet citizens.
The citizenship by investment unit is the government agency responsible for processing applications. The current processing time for applications is three months after receipt of a completed application.
